Long-haul delivery · quoted per job
Shipping containers
to Las Vegas, NV.
We deliver new and used shipping containers from our northern Nevada yard to Las Vegas, Henderson, and North Las Vegas on quoted long-haul delivery.
Straight talk about a 440 mile delivery
Our yard is in northern Nevada, and Las Vegas is roughly 440 miles down US-95 from it. We do deliver there, to Las Vegas, Henderson, and North Las Vegas, and it is quoted as long-haul delivery on a job by job basis. That is the honest version, and it is worth saying plainly instead of pretending the valley is around the corner from us.
The delivery line on a Las Vegas quote is a real number tied to a real truck making a real trip, and we would rather you see it up front than find it later. Send us the size, the container you want, and the address, and we put the whole thing in one quote: container, tax, and the haul. You can start on the inventory page or just tell us what you need.

When bringing one down from our yard makes sense
It makes the most sense in two situations. The first is a multi-unit order. If you need three containers, or five, the haul spreads across all of them and the math changes. The second is when you want a specific container, not a container. Customers walk our rows, look at actual doors and actual floors, pick the box, and have that exact unit delivered. If you care which container shows up, that is something worth paying a haul for.
- Multi-unit orders for a yard, a site, or a phased project, where one trip covers several containers.
- A container you selected yourself at the yard, rather than whichever one an anonymous listing assigns you.
- A specific configuration such as a double-door, a tri-door, or a man door with a rooftop vent, when you want that exact unit confirmed before it moves.
- Businesses and contractors who want one point of contact for the container, the price, and the delivery.
Heat: what a steel box does in Mojave sun
A shipping container in full desert sun gets hot inside. Not dangerously, not uniquely, but hot the way any closed steel building in Las Vegas gets hot in July. We would rather tell you that than have you find it out in August with something heat-sensitive inside. There are practical answers:
- Take the rooftop vent option. A roof vent lets hot air out the top and keeps air moving instead of letting it stack up against the ceiling.
- Place it for shade. The long side of a building, a wall, or mature trees on the west side cuts the worst of the afternoon load.
- Orient the doors. Doors that open away from the afternoon sun make the container a lot more pleasant to work out of.
- Think about what goes inside. Tools, equipment, metal stock, furniture, and most business inventory are fine. Anything with a temperature rating wants a plan.
A light-colored container runs cooler than a dark one, which is one small reason people pick a new one-trip container for a Las Vegas lot. It arrives with clean factory paint and no history.
Lot access, gates, and HOA reality
Valley delivery is mostly a question of the last hundred feet. A tilt-bed needs a straight approach and room to work: roughly a hundred feet of straight, clear run to set a 40ft and about sixty for a 20ft, plus overhead clearance for the bed as it tilts. Walled residential lots, narrow side gates, and tight commercial yards are the usual constraints, and they are all knowable before anyone gets in a truck. Send us photos of the approach and the spot when you ask for a quote. Our site prep guide covers base and clearance in plain language.
The other reality is local rules. A lot of the valley is governed by HOAs and by city and county codes that have opinions about accessory structures and about what can sit in view of a street. That is on the property owner to check, and it is much easier to check before a container is on a truck than after. A call to your planning department and a look at your CC&Rs answers it.

Who orders from us in the valley
Mostly contractors, businesses, and property owners who care which container they get. Job-site boxes for crews, secure storage on a commercial lot, equipment and parts storage, and homeowners on larger parcels outside the walled subdivisions. Sizes run the same as they do up north: used 20ft from $2,500 and used 40ft high cube from $2,870, plus tax, with new one-trip 20ft at $3,950 and 40ft high cube at $4,200. Prices move with the steel market, so we confirm on the day you order. Everything about how we work, including the yard and the trucks, is on our Reno page, and used containers are explained in detail if you are weighing condition against price.
Common questions
Do you really deliver shipping containers to Las Vegas?
Yes. Las Vegas, Henderson, and North Las Vegas are in our delivery area on quoted long-haul delivery from our northern Nevada yard, roughly 440 miles up US-95.
Is it worth the haul from northern Nevada?
It makes the most sense on multi-unit orders, or when you want one specific container that you picked yourself. For a single box with no preferences, the haul is the main cost consideration and we will tell you so.
How soon can you deliver to Las Vegas?
Long-haul runs are scheduled around the route and the truck, so we give you a date when we quote your job rather than a promise on a web page.
How hot does a container get in Las Vegas?
Hot, like any closed steel building in desert sun. A rooftop vent option and shade placement make a large difference, and most tools, equipment, and inventory store fine.
Do I need HOA or city approval?
Possibly. Many valley communities have rules about accessory structures and street visibility. Checking your CC&Rs and your city or county planning department before ordering is the owner's responsibility and saves trouble.
