Tactical Container is a family-owned container yard in Reno, Nevada. We have sold and delivered shipping containers since 2006, and we deliver nationwide.

Our story
A real yard, real people
Tactical Container started in 2006 as a family business, and it still is one. Darin runs the yard, Lorie runs the office and the schedule, and our drivers have set thousands of containers on properties from Reno to Las Vegas and over the Sierra into California.
We sell new one-trip and certified cargo-worthy used shipping containers in 20ft and 40ft, standard and high cube, with double-door and tri-door options. You can walk the yard on Cocoa Avenue and pick the exact box you want, or send us a few details and we will match you to the right one and deliver it.
What we do not do is the runaround. Prices are posted as starting points and confirmed when you order. Delivery is quoted up front. You pay when the container is on your ground.

Every container is walked, checked for wind and water tightness, and certified before it leaves the yard. Cargo-worthy means exactly that.
Straight pricing
Starting prices are posted. Steel moves with the market, so we confirm your exact number the day you order, plus tax, with no hidden fees.
Our own delivery
Our drivers set containers where you want them, in driveways and side yards that look tight on paper. You pay when it is delivered.
